Touch typing is simply learning correct finger use
and, then, practice, practice, practice
The goal of learning to touch type is automaticity—performing a skilled activity easily with little effort or conscious awareness. The best way to achieve this is to immediately integrate practice with all computer work
From this point on, all typing should be done without looking at the keyboard. To help you do this, place removable adhesive dots on the alpha keys of your computer keyboard and color the "bump" F and J dots to help you place your fingers correctly on the Home keys
If you forget the location of a key and have tried really hard to remember it, two "key" pages, containing all the association words, will help you remember
