There is an easy way to find out WHAT Microsoft Word version is on your computer: |
|
|
Open Microsoft Word and a fast screen flashes up telling you what version it is. This screen is fast. If you miss it the first time, close down and, then, re-open Microsoft Word |
|
|
You should see one of the following: |
|
|
The toolbars for both Microsoft Word 97 and 2000 are similar (they have a light gray background) |
|
|
BUT, if you click View on the Menu Bar, Microsoft Word 97 displays Page Layout and
Microsoft Word 2000 displays Print Layout |
|
|
The toolbars for Microsoft Word XP have a cream background |
|
