Step 17: Drop-Down Boxes

On the Formatting Toolbar, the white boxes with tiny DOWN arrows beside them are called drop-down boxes

The Font drop-down box (second tool) displays Microsoft Word's default font, Times New Roman

You are going to change Microsoft Word's default Font

Click the DOWN arrow to the RIGHT of the Font drop-down box (second tool) and its menu appears

Move your mouse OVER AGaramond and, when it becomes SELECTED, click your mouse


		The Font drop-down box now displays AGaramond

You are going to change Microsoft Word's default Font Size


3		Click the DOWN arrow to the RIGHT of the Font Size drop-down box (third tool) and its menu appears

Move your mouse OVER 16 and, when it becomes SELECTED, click your mouse


		The Font Size drop-down box now displays 16
